Jupiter Transit: Retrogression/Combustion, auspicious or not?

Jupiter Transit Retrogression n CombustionIn transit, when any planet comes opposite to the Sun, then it assumes retrograde motion and goes closer to the Sun thereby making the planet combust. Planet Jupiter assumed retrograde motion on 8 January 2016 and remained retrograde till 9 May 2016. As per the ancient Vedic Astrology fundamental rules, when a naturally benefic planet adopts indirect motion it loses its auspiciousness and positive quality. Jupiter is the most auspicious planet of our zodiac and according to the above rule of Astrology, Jupiter was devoid of its auspicious quality when it travelled in retrograde motion earlier this year(January-May).

In addition to this, another most inauspicious planet of our universe, Rahu, had entered into Leo sign on 9 January 2016 to join retrograde Jupiter and to form a negative yog called ‘GuruChandal Yog’ which is not an assertive combination of two planets in one’s birth horoscope. This ‘GuruChandal Yog’ will be over on 11 August 2016 when planet Jupiter leaves Leo sign and will enter into Virgo sign. Retrogression of Jupiter is not an auspicious phenomenon for Cancer, Sagittarius and Pisces Moon sign people. Because Jupiter rules the house of luck for Cancer Moon sign and owns Sagittarius and Pisces signs.

Combustion is another transit condition of planets when they become weak in their power because of close proximity to the Sun. This year, planet Jupiter will be in combust state from 11 September till 7 October. At this point of time Jupiter will be with debilitated Venus and, although being in combust and powerless condition, Jupiter will create cancellation of debilitation of Venus, which is called ‘NeechBhang Raaj Yog’ in astrological terms. Six days later the Sun will be joining Jupiter and Venus in Virgo sign to form an auspicious combination of the Sun and Jupiter and the Sun and Venus, both of which are considered perfect yog for a person to become a doctor or an engineer in life.

Being in combust condition Jupiter might give negative results for Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius and Pisces Moon sign natives. Good changes may be there for Libra Moon sign people as both the planets are going to form ‘Vipreet Raaj Yog’ as well as ‘NeechBhang Raaj Yog’ in the twelfth house of their horoscope. To reduce the negative effects of Jupiter some remedies can be performed. Giving anything of yellow colour as ‘Daan’ to any Brahmin or Panditji is advisable to get good results and minimise the inauspicious effects. This remedy should be performed on any Thursday morning of bright lunar half (Shukal Paksh). Giving ‘Dakshina’ with ‘Daan’ is necessary to get the desired result without fail.
